Portugal gets Racing job back

Following Juan Carlos Mandiá's dismissal as coach of Real Racing Club last week the Spanish side have turned to former trainer Miguel Ángel Portugal to lead them out of the lower reaches of Liga. The 53-year-old helped the El Sardinero outfit to a tenth-placed finish in 2005/06, taking up the position of technical secretary at Real Madrid CF shortly afterwards. His immediate task will be to raise confidence in a Racing side that has won just once in the Liga this season.
