Olympique Lyonnais missed the chance to go second in Ligue 1 as they squandered a two-goal lead to lose 4-3 at LOSC Lille Métropole on a day when Grenoble Foot 38 won for the first time this term.

Lisandro hat-trick
FC Girondins de Bordeaux's 1-0 win against Paris Saint-Germain FC on Saturday took Laurent Blanc's side four points clear of Montpellier Hérault SC at the head of the standings. It looked, however, like Lyon would move within two points thanks to Lisandro's first-half hat-trick. The Argentine striker put the visitors two up inside 22 minutes, the second of which came from the penalty spot, and added his eighth league goal of the season ten minutes before half-time after Pierre-Alain Frau had briefly halved Lille's deficit against his former side. However, second-half goals from Gervinho (53, 90) and Cabaye (70) – via a penalty – condemned Claude Puel's charges to a dramatic defeat barely a month after their remarkable 5-5 draw with Olympique de Marseille.

Long wait
Grenoble, meanwhile, remain rooted to the foot of the table but are now undefeated in four and just three points adrift of Le Mans UC 72. Having lost their first eleven league fixtures following promotion, Mehmed Baždarević's side subsequently drew three times prior to Sunday's 1-0 triumph over UEFA Europa League hopefuls Toulouse FC, Nicolas Dieuze scoring the only goal with ten minutes remaining. AJ Auxerre, meanwhile, are level on points with Lyon in fifth after losing 3-1 at home to AS Nancy-Lorraine, who had Bocundji Ca sent off late on. US Boulogne also won with ten men, Mame N'Diaye the man dismissed during a 2-1 victory over RC Lens.
