Rangers prevail in Old Firm tussle

Titleholders Rangers FC are now ten points clear at the Scottish Premier League summit with a game in hand after a 1-0 victory over nearest challengers and eternal rivals Celtic FC. Maurice Edu scored the game's only goal three minutes into second-half added time, bundling home after Kris Boyd's shot had been blocked. Celtic had earlier been reduced to ten men when catain Scott Brown was dismissed midway through the second half.
