Russian champions FC Rubin Kazan have signed midfielder Bebars Natcho from Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC, with the 22-year-old Israeli international accepting a four-year contract.
The move completes a memorable week for the Hapoel Tel-Aviv academy graduate, after Natcho made his senior national-team debut as a second-half substitute in Israel's 2-0 friendly victory in Romania on 3 March.
Natcho faced Rubin in last month's UEFA Europa League round of 32, with Tel-Aviv losing 3-0 to Kurban Berdyev's side in Kazan before drawing 0-0 in the return fixture. He made his bow in the Israeli top flight – Ligat Ha'Al – in the 2006/07 season, and went on to score five goals in 91 league games for Hapoel. Capped 18 times by his country's Under-21 team, he was first called up to the seniors last August but did not play.
Rubin kicked off their domestic campaign with a 1-0 Russian Super Cup win against PFC CSKA Moskva at the weekend. They begin their UEFA Europa League round of 16 tie at home to VfL Wolfsburg on Thursday.
