Cluj edge ahead of Steaua

CFR 1907 Cluj usurped FC Steaua Bucureşti at the top of Liga 1 with a 2-2 draw at home to sixth-placed FC Dinamo 1948 Bucureşti. Steaua went clear with a 1-0 victory against FC Oţelul Galaţi on Friday and though Cluj twice fell behind against Dinamo, Juan Culio struck four minutes from time to earn Andrea Mandorlini's side a share of the spoils that takes them to the summit on goal difference. FC Unirea Urziceni will look to join the co-pacesetters with a win on Sunday at fourth-placed FC Timişoara, who are a point adrift of their visitors.
