Wolverhampton Wanderers FC beat West Ham United FC 3-1 on Tuesday to record their first win at the Boleyn Ground since 1978 and move four points clear of their relegation rivals.

Kevin Doyle opened the scoring for Wolves in the 28th minute before excellent strikes from Ronald Zubar and Matthew Jarvis in the space of three second-half minutes secured the points. Substitute Guillermo Franco scored in the third minute of added time for West Ham, who sit one place and three points above the Premier League relegation zone.
