FC København midfielder Atiba Hutchinson will join PSV Eindhoven in the summer as a free agent with the 27-year-old having agreed a three-year contract with the Dutch club.
PSV saw the 47-times capped Canadian international at close quarters when they faced København twice in this season's UEFA Europa League group stage, and coach Fred Rutten said: "He is a dynamic and athletic all-round midfielder. He is a versatile player who can perform an anchor role in midfield. We've been monitoring Hutchinson closely ever since we met København in the Europa League."
Hutchinson started his career with York Region Shooters, playing for Toronto Lynx before moving to Europe to represent Östers IF and Helsingborgs IF. He has scored 22 goals in 136 league games for reigning Danish champions and current league leaders København, the club he joined in 2005. Having guaranteed third spot in the Netherlands with a game to play, PSV are destined for a place in next season's UEFA Europa League play-offs.
