Coach Colomba extends Bolgona deal

Bologna FC coach Franco Colomba has extended his contract with the Felsinei for a further two years until June 2012 on the eve of their Serie A visit to leaders FC Internazionale Milano. The experienced 55-year-old was appointed by his boyhood club, where he began his playing career, in October and they are currently seven points clear of the relegation zone with as many games to go. Club president Francescca Menarini said: "He will stay with us for another two seasons and I think this confirms that we are working on the future, that we have a project – I am really satisfied with how Colomba shares our philosophy."
