UE Sant Julià are the Andorran Cup winners thanks to a 1-0 final victory against UE Santa Coloma that came courtesy of Sebas Gómez's late strike.

Sant Julià, who ended five points off the pace in the Andorran Premier Division, made up for that disappointment at the the Camp d'Esports d'Aixovall on Sunday as they lifted the trophy they last won in 2008.

Chances were at a premium throughout and it was via a late break that the result was eventually decided. It was Gómez who was on hand to profit with eight minutes remaining, racing into the penalty area before applying the finish.

UE Santa Coloma, who surprised many by finishing second in the league – just three points off FC Santa Coloma – mounted a late push for an equaliser but were unable to find a way through the Sant Julià defence.

While FC Santa Coloma will enter the UEFA Champions League qualifying round as champions, Sant Julià will join UE Santa Coloma in the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round.
