AC Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi has signed a one-year contract extension at the Serie A club, keeping him with the Rossoneri until 30 June 2011.

The deal means that the former Italian international will have spent a decade of his playing career with Milan – having moved to San Siro from Juventus in 2001.

The 36-year-old has won the UEFA Champions League twice in a Milan shirt, first at the expense of former team Juventus in the 2003 final and again when he struck twice in the 2007 showpiece against Liverpool FC. Inzaghi scored two goals in 24 Serie A appearances as Milan finish third in 2009/10, qualifying for the group stage of next season's UEFA Champions League.
