Hoyos given Anorthosis hot seat

Anorthosis Famagusta FC have appointed Argentinian Guillermo Angel Hoyos as their new coach. The Cypriot club, who will enter the 2010/11 UEFA Europa League in the first qualifying round, have given Hoyos a one-year deal with the option for a further 12 months. The 46-year-old former Aris Thessaloniki FC, Atromitos FC and Panserraikos FC coach replaces Nicos Nicolaou at Anorthosis and said: "This is an important step in my career. This is a big club with good players and an excellent fan base."
