Newly promoted side AC Cesena have brought in Massimo Ficcadenti to replace their coach Pierpaolo Bisoli, who left the club last week and is expected to take over at Cagliari Calcio.
Ficcadenti, the 42-year-old former Hellas-Verona FC and Torino FC midfielder, has had brief experience of coaching in Serie A, having been sacked by Reggina Calcio ten matches into the 2007/08 season. Last season he coached Piacenza Calcio in Serie B. Bisoli has been linked with Cagliari, the team he represented as a midfielder from 1991 to 1997.
