EB/Streymur won the Faroese Cup for the third time in four years by defeating ÍF Fuglafjørdur 1-0 in the final, Sorin Anghel scoring the winner on his 250th appearance for the club.

Anghel struck in the 25th minute, by which point EB/Streymur should have been a goal down, however, after goalkeeper René Tórgarð saved from Nenad Sarić and Fritleif í Lambanum put the rebound wide. EB/Streymur – who lost 3-2 to Víkingur in the 2009 final – struck the decisive blow when Arnbjøen Hansen's effort from Gudmund Nielsen's cross was cleared off the goal line, leaving Anghel with the simplest of finishes.

Chances were few and far between thereafter, although Jann Ellingsgaard threatened for ÍF midway through the second half when he headed across the face of goal. Hans Pauli Samuelsen squandered a great chance to double the lead in added time but it mattered little not as EB/Streymur lifted the cup for the third time.
