The UEFA Executive Committee, chaired by UEFA President Michel Platini, will hold its next meeting in Minsk, Belarus, on Monday 4 October 2010.
The one-day meeting will take place at the Hotel Crowne Plaza in the Belorussian capital, the address of which is Kirova Street 13, 220030 Minsk. It will start at 09.00 local time and is scheduled to end at approximately 17.00. A press conference will be held immediately after the end of the meeting in the same location.
The Executive Committee will be hearing reports from the various committee chairmen of the most recent committees that have been held at UEFA, including Club Competitions, Referees, Futsal and Beach Soccer, Youth and Amateur, Women's Football, Finance, Club Licensing, National Team Competitions as well as Development and Technical Assistance.
The main items on the agenda in Minsk include:
- A UEFA EURO 2012 update, including the match schedule and venues
- The appointment of the host associations for the following final tournaments:
- UEFA European Under-17 Championships 2012 and 2013
- UEFA European Under-19 Championships 2012 and 2013
- UEFA European Women's Championship 2013
- UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship 2012 and 2013
- New members proposed for the UEFA Coaching Convention
- New members and star approvals to the UEFA Grassroots Charter
Members of the media interested in attending the press conference after the Executive Committee meeting are requested to inform the Belarus Football Federation via e-mail to press@bff.by with the words "UEFA Exco Minsk" in the subject header, by midday Wednesday 29 September.
Please note that a visa is required for all foreign media representatives travelling to Belarus.
