Brescia Calcio have replaced coach Giuseppe Iachini with Mario Beretta in the wake of their 3-0 defeat against Serie A leaders AC Milan on Saturday.
That result stretched Brescia's winless league run to 11 games, a far cry from the start to the season when the promoted team secured three victories in four matches. Iachini, 46, took over last October and led the club into Serie A but he left with them only two points above bottom club AS Bari in 17th place.
Beretta was available having left PAOK FC prior to the start of the Greek season in July, after only one month at the helm. The 51-year-old, who has signed a contract until the end of the campaign with Brescia, has also coached AC Chievo Verona, Parma FC and AC Siena among others in Serie A.
