Cameroon midfielder Eyong Enoh has agreed a new deal at AFC Ajax, extending his ties with the Dutch club until June 2015.
The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract, with a backdated start date of 1 July 2010. The new arrangement replaces his existing agreement, which was due to expire in June 2012.
"Aside from the fact that this is good for my career, I really feel at home here, as does my family," explained Enoh, a summer 2008 signing from Ajax Cape Town FC. "I am very happy about this contract."
Capped 17 times by Cameroon, Enoh appeared in all six of Ajax's UEFA Champions League Group G fixtures as they finished third to book a place in Friday's UEFA Europa League round of 32 draw. He has scored three goals in 60 Eredivisie games.
