Djibril Cissé, Vassilis Torosidis and Sotiris Ninis were the big winners as the Greek Association of Professional Football Players (PSAP) presented their awards for the 2009/10 season.

Panathinaikos FC striker Cissé claimed the honour for being the best foreign player in the Greek Super League and last season's top scorer award after scoring 23 times. "Our goal is the league title," he said, with the Greens five points adrift of Olympiacos FC. "We can win it and we will do everything to achieve it."

Olympiacos's Torosidis was voted the best Greek player in the top flight. "I will continue to work hard and do what my coaches ask of me," said the 25-year-old. "I hope that this season we can claim the league and cup titles again."

Panathinaikos midfielder Sotiris Ninis claimed the best young player award with Aris Thessaloniki FC's Michalis Sifakis taking the prize for the best goalkeeper. Fernando Santos, now coach of the Greek national team, was voted best coach of last season after leading PAOK FC to a UEFA Champions League third qualifying round berth.
