The new FIFA vice-president, HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, has today made an official visit to meet UEFA president Michel Platini.
Elected at the recent Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Congress which took place in Doha, Qatar, on 6 January, HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein – who has also been president of the Jordan Football Association since 1999 – was making his first visit to the European football confederation's headquarters.
The two FIFA vice-presidents, who will sit together on the Executive Committee of world football's governing body for the next four years, were able to share their respective experiences and lay the foundations for cooperation which promises to be fruitful and positive for football's development.
President Platini also declared that he was extremely happy and honoured to have had the privilege of greeting HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein on his very first official visit since his election as a FIFA vice-president.
