The Argentine Football Association president and FIFA senior vice-president, Julio H Grondona, visited UEFA on Wednesday ahead of his national team's friendly match in Geneva.

The president of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) and senior vice-president of FIFA, Julio H Grondona, has visited UEFA's House of European Football in Nyon.

Mr Grondona, who was making his first visit to UEFA's headquarters, came on the invitation of UEFA president Michel Platini. He is in Switzerland to attend Wednesday's international friendly match between Argentina and Portugal in Geneva.

The Argentina players, coaching staff and delegation also visited the House of European Football on Monday. The squad has been preparing for the match at the Colovray Stadium opposite UEFA's headquarters.
