Ligue 1 leaders LOSC Lille Métropole experienced frustration at home against FC Girondins de Bordeaux as they were held to a 1-1 draw which leaves them four points clear ahead of the rest of the weekend's games.

Beaten 1-0 by struggling AS Monaco FC last time out, Rudi Garcia's men looked to be back on track when Moussa Sow finished off a counterattack to register his 21st goal of the campaign after 58 minutes. The visitors nonetheless levelled when Vujadin Savić headed in a corner 14 minutes from time, meaning Olympique de Marseille can close the gap at the top to a solitary point when they travel to Montpellier Hérault SC on Sunday.

In fourth, Stade Rennais FC failed to make the most of Lille's draw as they were beaten 2-1 at home against FC Lorient, Stéphane Dalmat giving the hosts a 23rd-minute lead before they lost Samuel Souprayen to a red card 16 minutes later. Rennes also had Jean-Armel Kana Biyik dismissed late on, after Kevin Gameiro (51) and Francis Coquelin (63) had turned the game around.

AS Saint-Étienne are up to sixth, meanwhile, courtesy of their 2-1 defeat of AS Nancy-Lorraine. At the bottom, AJ Auxerre climbed out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 success at Toulouse FC, while SM Caen slipped into danger after losing 3-2 at FC Sochaux-Montbéliard. In Saturday's other games, OGC Nice downed Monaco 3-2 and second-bottom RC Lens drew 1-1 with Stade Brestois 29.
