Tottenham Hotspur FC winger Gareth Bale has been named as England's Player of the Year by the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA), saying: "It is a massive award and it is a great honour to receive, especially from other fellow professionals."
The 21-year-old is the fourth Welshman to receive the award, following Ian Rush, Mark Hughes and Ryan Giggs.
