LOSC Lille Métropole wrapped up their third Ligue 1 title and a second domestic double with a 2-2 draw against ten-man Paris Saint-Germain FC, a result which means the capital club remain two points adrift of Olympique Lyonnais in the race for third place and a UEFA Champions League berth.

Having defeated PSG in the French Cup final last weekend, Lille travelled to the capital knowing a point would be enough to secure the double. Ludovic Obraniak opened the scoring on five minutes before Rudi Garcia's men were pegged back by Guillaume Hoarau's equaliser in first-half added time.

Hoarau was dismissed shortly after the break before Moussa Sow's 22nd goal of the season put Lille ahead. Despite Mathieu Bodmer's 73rd-minute equaliser, Lille held on to claim a first league crown since 1953/54.

PSG missed out on leapfrogging Lyon into third after Claude Puel's men were held to a goalless draw at home to SM Caen. At the other end of the table, meanwhile, a 1-0 victory for AS Monaco FC against Montpellier Hérault SC keeps them in touching distance of relegation rivals AS Nancy-Lorraine, who won 2-0 at Stade Rennais FC thanks to goals from Bakaye Traore and Julien Féret.

Elsewhere, FC Sochaux-Montbéliard closed the gap to Rennes in fifth by beating AS Saint-Étienne 2-1, while second-placed Olympique de Marseille drew 2-2 against Valenciennes FC. Relegated AC Arles-Avignon won 1-0 at RC Lens and there were important victories in the battle to beat the drop for Stade Brestois 29 and OGC Nice. Toulouse FC beat FC Girondins de Bordeaux 2-0 to go tenth.
