Olympique Lyonnais's hopes of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League are in the balance following a 1-1 draw with relegation-threatened Stade Brestois 29.
The result leaves Claude Puel's men two points clear of Paris Saint-Germain FC in third place, Ligue 1's final UEFA Champions League berth. PSG will leapfrog Lyon with two games to play if they defeat FC Girondins de Bordeaux on Wednesday, when leaders LOSC Lille Métropole host FC Sochaux-Montbéliard.
Beaten 4-0 by AJ Auxerre in their last outing, Lyon seemed set for the perfect riposte when Ederson rose above goalkeeper Steeve Elana to head in Miralem Pjanić's corner on the quarter-hour mark. However, with 14 minutes remaining, substitute Mario Lička volleyed in from outside the area, earning Brest a fifth draw in six matches which nudges the Brittany club two points clear of the relegation zone.
