Juventus have moved one point clear at the top of Serie A, but were held to a fourth draw in five Serie A encounters by Genoa CFC in an exciting match in Turin.

Alessandro Matri thought he had done enough to earn the Bianconeri a fourth victory of the campaign when he scored a second goal on 58 minutes after Marco Rossi had cancelled out the striker's early opener just past the half-hour. But Alberto Malesani's enterprising side levelled again through Andrea Caracciolo five minutes from time and almost grabbed a winner when the substitute flicked a corner over the bar in the dying moments. Any of five sides could at least move level with Juve on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Fiorentina also twice took the lead against Catania, and were equally unable to hold on to their lead on both occasions. In the Viola's case Stevan Jovetić scored both of his side's goals only for Gennaro Delvecchio and Maxi López to maintain the visitors' record of having lost just once in the Italian top-flight this campaign.
