Nenê scored twice as Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain FC rallied from a goal down against Évian Thonon Gaillard FC to complete a 3-1 victory and remain three points ahead of Montpellier Hérault SC, who also registered a home win.
PSG were the dominant side in the opening period, but it was the visitors who took the lead Olivier Sorlin's miscued volley following a corner finding Cédric Cambon's head and the opener just before half-time.
The second half, however, belonged to Nenê. The Brazilian left-winger levelled with a solo strike inside two minutes of the restart and netted again from a spot kick awarded after Jérémy Ménez had been fouled. It was Nenê's 89th-minute shot that provided the third goal, too, as Évian keeper Stephan Andersen parried the attempt into the path of Kevin Gameiro, who tapped in to seal coach Carlo Ancelotti's fifth win in as many games.
Montpellier are clinging determinedly to PSG's tailcoats, however, and Geoffrey Dernis's fifth league goal this term kept the second-placed side in touch at the top with a 1-0 home win against Stade Brestois 29.
Elsewhere, Stade Rennais FC missed the chance to move into fourth after a goalless draw at AS Nancy-Lorraine, FC Girondins de Bordeaux overcame ten-man Toulouse FC 2-0, Valenciennes FC achieved a 2-1 win at Dijon FCO and a 1-1 draw at AC Ajaccio kept OGC Nice in the drop zone.
