Juventus are unbeaten in 43 Serie A games after two Fabio Quagliarella goals earned them a 2-0 win against AC Chievo Verona.

The title holders started the day level on points with SSC Napoli and S.S. Lazio at the head of the Serie A standings but are now three clear at the summit. The Bianconeri struggled to break the deadlock against Chievo and were ultimately indebted to Quagliarella's quick-fire double midway through the second half.

In the day's only other game in the Italian top flight, Parma FC – reduced to ten men when Aleandro Rosi saw red in the 87th minute – held ACF Fiorentina to a 1-1 draw thanks to a Jaime Valdés goal in the third minute of added time.
