Kenny Morgans, the youngest player involved in the Munich air crash that took the lives of so many of his Manchester United FC team-mates, has died at the age of 73.
Just 18 at the time of the crash, the Welshman was the last survivor discovered on 6 February 1958, but while he was back in action by the end of the season, the right winger’s career never flourished at Old Trafford. He left the club in 1961, having made a total of 23 first-team, appearances, and went on to play for Swansea Town FC and Newport County FC before retiring from football in 1967.
