Olympique Lyonnais are back on level terms with Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain FC following a 3-0 home win against OGC Nice.
Defeated by PSG last weekend, Lyon found themselves three points off the summit at the start of the day due to the capital club's 3-0 win at Stade Brestois 29 on Friday. Rémi Garde's team responded in kind, though, Lisandro putting them in front five minutes before the break. Anthony Réveillère doubled the visitors' lead before Bafétimbi Gomis converted from the spot following the dismissal of David Ospina. Lyon had Dejan Lovren sent off late on.
Stade Rennais FC, meanwhile, are up to fourth courtesy of a 4-2 triumph at AJ Ajaccio, Julien Feret chipping in with two goals. FC Lorient dropped to fifth having drawn 2-2 with Stade de Reims Champagne, while FC Girondins de Bordeaux are sixth following a goalless draw with ES Troyes Aube Champagne.
Elsewhere, LOSC Lille capitalised on the first-half dismissal of Younes Belhanda to beat Montpellier Hérault SC 4-1, and SC Bastia won 4-1 against bottom-side AS Nancy-Lorraine.
