Juventus stand five points clear at the top of Serie A after their 2-0 triumph against ACF Fiorentina was followed by a 1-1 stalemate for second-placed SSC Napoli at S.S. Lazio.

The reigning champions kicked off the day's action and they took the lead on 20 minutes as Mirko Vučinić found the net with a right-footed effort. Alessandro Matri then doubled the advantage for the hosts four minutes before the break, latching onto an Arturo Vidal pass and actually scoring with his sock after losing his boot.

That result put the onus on both Napoli and Lazio to take maximum points from their meeting later in the evening, but both teams had to settle for a share of the spoils. Sergio Floccari put Lazio in front with 11 minutes gone as he chested down an Abdoullay Konko cross and picked his spot, but the visitors responded through Hugo Campagnaro with three minutes remaining to keep the third-placed capital club six points back.
