Arsenal FC scored three times in the last five minutes as they came from behind to defeat Norwich City FC 3-1 and move into third place in the Premier League.

With Tottenham Hotspur FC not in action this weekend and Chelsea FC playing Manchester City FC on Sunday in the second FA Cup semi-final, the Gunners took advantage against their struggling opponents. However, they required an 85th-minute Mikel Arteta spot kick to restore parity after Michael Turner (56) had headed in a free-kick from Robert Snodgrass.

Olivier Giroud, fouled by Kei Kamara for the penalty, slid in to put Arsène Wenger's side ahead, before Lukas Podolski (90) fired in from outside the area. The Canaries, who have won just once in the league in 2013, are four points above the relegation zone.

Two places and a point below are Aston Villa FC, who let slip a lead in drawing 1-1 at home with Fulham FC. Southampton FC continued their ascent up the table by drawing with West Ham United FC, for whom Andy Carroll (66) equalised.

Elsewhere, there were no goals between Liverpool FC and Reading FC, whose fellow strugglers Queens Park Rangers FC lost 2-0 at UEFA Champions League chasers Everton FC. Wigan Athletic FC, meanwhile, are through to their first FA Cup final after a 2-0 defeat of second-tier Millwall FC at Wembley.
