Víctor Ibarbo captured the limelight with a stunning goal as Scudetto winners Juventus were frustrated in their last home match of the season by mid-table Cagliari Calcio.
The hosts were being presented with the Serie A trophy following the final whistle, but Cagliari's Colombian international dampened the mood early on. He broke down the right from inside his own half and showed pace, power and determination in abundance to beat two markers before squeezing a shot under goalkeeper Marco Storari.
Sebastian Giovinco cracked a free-kick off the underside of the crossbar as the Bianconeri sought an equaliser, which eventually arrived just after the hour. Claudio Marchisio's clipped cross from the byline was headed back across goal by Arturo Vidal for the lurking Mirko Vučinić to knock in his tenth goal of the campaign.
Alejandro Gómez scored the only goal as Calcio Catania edged past already-relegated Pescara Calcio in the day's late fixture.
