FC Girondins de Bordeaux fought back from a goal down to beat ES Troyes AC 2-1 in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France.
Hosts Troyes, still entrenched in the Ligue 1 relegation zone despite back-to-back Ligue 1 wins, were on course to maintain their recent momentum when Jean-Christophe Bahebeck scored from close range after seven minutes. The goalscorer swiftly stung the fingertips of Cédric Carrasso with a venomous drive, before Bordeaux striker Cheick Diabaté wrested back the initiative four minutes before the break.
Diabaté then squandered a gilt-edged opportunity to give Bordeaux the lead by steering Mariano's cross wide, but Jérémie Bréchet's own goal ensured his blushes lasted just five minutes. Julien Faubert hit a post and Ludovic Obraniak fired narrowly wide as Francis Gillot's team finished with a flourish before taking their place alongside Évian Thonon Gaillard FC in the 31 May showpiece.
