Paris Saint-Germain FC failed to displace unbeaten AS Monaco FC at the head of the Ligue 1 standings as Zlatan Ibrahimović and Falcao traded goals in the French capital.
Starting the day two points behind Claudio Ranieri's leaders, PSG looked likely to go top after their Swedish striker hammered in Maxwell's cross from close range after just five minutes.
The hosts lost captain Thiago Silva to injury shortly after and the loss was compounded on 20 minutes when Falcao's diving header drove João Moutinho's cross past Salvatore Sirigu. The two goalscorers both had chances to win it for their sides, but the visitors left with a point to maintain their two-point cushion at the top.
Olympique Lyonnais returned to winning ways, after three league games without victory, as they came from behind to defeat FC Nantes 3-1. Bafétimbi Gomis, Clément Grenier and Jimmy Briand got the goals for Rémi Garde's men who moved up to seventh, a point behind OGC Nice, who marked the opening of their new stadium with a 4-0 success against Valenciennes FC.
Meanwhile, FC Lorient and FC Girondins de Bordeaux shared six goals between them in the day's other game.
