Reims stun Marseille as Rennes hit five

Prince Oniangue fired a last-minute goal to hand Stade de Reims a 3-2 success at Olympique de Marseille, condemning OM to a fifth consecutive loss in all competitions.

Reims had drawn six of their last seven matches, and despite a spirited display at the Stade Vélodrome it looked as though they would be pegged back again. André-Pierre Gignac had come off the bench to poach an 86th-minute equaliser, adding to Florian Thauvin's angled finish – the youngster's first goal for OM. It was a blow to Reims fans who had seen their side take a 2-0 half-time lead through Floyd Ayité's deflected free-kick and Mads Albæk's low drive. But Reims' determination won out and an unmarked Oniangue met Grzegorz Krychowiak's perfect centre with a well-timed header to earn his side an elusive win.

The performance of the day elsewhere came from Stade Rennais FC, who had four different scorers as they powered to a 5-0 win at Toulouse FC. Romain Alessandrini, Tiemoué Bakayoko and Foued Kadir all struck in a blistering first half, before on-loan forward Nélson Oliveira, returning from suspension, fired a second-half double, his fifth and sixth goals of an impressive campaign.

On Friday night, Nolan Roux scored the only goal – sliding in a Ronny Rodelin pass – as LOSC Lille moved second in the standings at the expense of similarly high-flying FC Nantes.
