AS Roma are six points behind Serie A leaders Juventus after beating Bologna FC 1-0 at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
Mattia Destro had already hit the post before Roma took the lead through Radja Nainggolan on 37 minutes, the Belgian midfielder supplying a close-range finish for Miralem Pjanić's ball. It was his first goal since joining the Giallorossi from Cagliari Calcio in January.
Bologna pushed hard for an equaliser in the second half, but struggled to create clear opportunities against a team that have conceded only 11 goals in Serie A all season. Andrea Mantovani headed just wide from one opening and Lazaros Christodoulopoulos missed the target in added time.
