Juventus are rapidly honing in on their second consecutive Serie A title after a 3-1 comeback win at US Sassuolo Calcio lifted them eight points clear at the summit with three to play.
The hosts took a surprise lead nine minutes in when Simone Zaza burst into the box after taking receipt of Nicola Sansone's through ball and sent a low shot squirming past Gianluigi Buffon. The Bianconeri's response was spirited, though, as Carlos Tévez combined with Claudio Marchisio and found the net with a venomous drive.
Marchisio turned goalscorer shortly after the interval, running onto Andrea Pirlo's delicate chip and finishing in style. The result was put beyond doubt 14 minutes from time as Fernando Llorente improvised to turn in Stephan Lichtsteiner's cut-back. Antonio Conte's team will be crowned champions if AS Roma fail to overcome Calcio Catania on Sunday.
