Club Atlético de Madrid beat Real Madrid CF 2-0 in the first leg of their Copa del Rey last-16 tie – Diego Simeone's side's third successive triumph over their capital rivals.

Club Atlético de Madrid beat Real Madrid CF 2-0 in the first leg of their Copa del Rey last-16 tie.
• Second-half goals from Raúl García (penalty) and José María Giménez give Atlético victory.
• Madrid had won 22 successive games in all competitions but have now lost two in a row.
• Atlético have won the last three capital derbies in all competitions.
Cristiano Ronaldo came off the bench to replace James Rodríguez in the second half.
Fernando Torres made his first appearance for Atlético since 2007 after re-signing this month.

• The second leg takes place at the Santiago Bernabéu on Thursday 15 January.
• The winners of this tie will face either Elche CF or FC Barcelona in the quarter-finals.
