Viktor Kravchenko and Gocha Trapaidze struck in the 87th and 89th minutes respectively as they made the most of their numerical advantage to overcome their hosts, following Mykola Lapko's 69th-minute red card.
Mariupil held
FC Metalist Kharkiv held FC Metalurg Mariupil to a 2-2 draw. Serhiy Kolesnyk had put Mariupil in front after 13 minutes before Volodymyr Matsyhura and Yevhen Nazarov swung the tie in favour of the home side. Ruslan Myklashevych levelled the scores eight minutes from time.
Musolytyn the hero for Kryvbas
Volodymyr Musolytyn gave FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih a 1-0 win over FC Zakarpattya Uzhgorod. In the day's other game FC Vorskla Poltava drew 1-1 with FC Polihraftechnica Olexandria. Vorskla's Olexandr Omelchuk scored in the 33rd minute before Denys Adrienko equalised early in the second half.
