Article body
HNK Cibalia jumped from third place into second in the Croatian league after a 4-1 victory over NK Hajduk Split.
Bule opener
Hajduk went into the game in second and started well when Nino Bule opened the scoring in the eighth minute but Drazen Pernar equalised just five minutes later. Jure Juric then put Cibalia ahead on the stroke of half-time and surged away with goals midway through the second half from Ivan Zgela and Ivan Maroslavac.
Dinamo on top
NK Dinamo Zagreb took advantage of that result to extend their lead at the top of the table to two points with a convincing 3-1 home win over NK Zadar. They hit two goals just a before half-time, Niko Kranjar and Ivica Olic breaking Zadar's resistance, and then added the third through Dumitru Mitu in the second half. Zadar's only response was a 68th minute strike by Velimir Brasnic.
