Article body
HNK Hajduk Split dropped their first Prva HNL points of the new season as they were held to a goalless draw by NK Kamen Ingrad Velika on Sunday.
Chance missed
Last year's runners-up missed out on the chance to take the top spot with the draw after NK Varteks had moved up to fourth following their 2-1 win over HNK Rijeka on Saturday. Matija Kristic and Veldin Karic scored in the 41st and 60th minutes respectively before Natko Racki pulled one back for Rijeka.
Leaders struggle
Leaders NK Dinamo Zagreb struggled to a 3-2 away victory against NK Pomorac. Dalibor Skocic put home side into an early lead before goals from Jerko Leko and Vladimir Petrovic put Dinamo ahead. Stjepan Ostojic's 69th-minute free-kick levelled the scores and it took Dumitru Mitu's header 15 minutes from full time to hand the leaders all three points.
Jurcevic joy
Meanwhile, NK Zagreb achieved their first win with new coach Nikola Jurcevic. Zagreb defeated HNK Šibenik 2-1 with goals from Enes Bruncevic and Domagoj Verhas before Stjepan Jukic scored a late consolation for Šibenik.
Zadarkomerc beaten
Elsewhere, NK Zadarkomerc lost 2-0 to HNK Cibalia and NK Osijek failed to improve on their poor start to the season, going down 2-1 at home to NK Slaven Belupo.
