Bakari and Bak leave Lens

News round-up: AS Nancy-Lorraine have signed Dagui Bakari from RC Lens, who have also released Jacek Bak.

AS Nancy-Lorraine have signed Ivorian striker Dagui Bakari from UEFA Intertoto Cup finalists RC Lens, who have also allowed Polish defender Jacek Bak to join Qatari side Al-Rayyan. Bakari, 30, spent three years at Lens and has signed a 12-month deal with newly promoted Nancy. Bak, 32, has also agreed a year-long contract at his new club - having made his farewell Lens appearance against his former side Lech Poznan.

Wigan Athletic FC

Turkish Superleague side Diyarbakirspor have signed striker Goran Maznov from Macedonian First League champions FK Rabotnicki. The 24-year-old F.Y.R. Macedonian international appeared in the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round in July, scoring in Rabotnicki's 6-0 victory against Latvian champions FC Skonto. Maznov has also previously had spells at FC Baltika Kaliningrad, FC Torpedo-ZIL Moskva (now FC Moskva) and FC Spartak Moskva.

Eredivisie newcomers Sparta Rotterdam have signed Yuri Rose from SC Heerenveen. The 26-year-old former FC Volendam and Heracles Almelo striker has signed a contract running until 2008 after leaving the UEFA Cup contenders, for whom he scored three times in 19 games last season.
