Italy round-up: Roma recover to hold Juve

AS Roma twice came from behind to draw against Juventus FC on Sunday as the leading clubs all failed to win.

AS Roma twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw against Juventus FC on Sunday. Marco Di Vaio twice put the reigning Serie A champions ahead but goals from summer signing Cristian Chivu and Jonathan Zebina - the latter coming just three minutes from time - earned Fabio Capello's side a share of the spoils.

Bresciano double
The pick of the games played earlier in the day was Parma AC's 3-2 win against S.S. Lazio - a victory clinched by Mark Bresciano's 89th-minute strike, his second of the match.

Ambrosini off
Both Milan sides were held to draws - Internazionale FC's home game with Sampdoria UC ended goalless while ten-man AC Milan drew 1-1 with AC Perugia at the Renato Curi. Gennaro Gattuso had put the European champions ahead but Greek striker Zisis Vryzas levelled the scores. The visitors' Massimo Ambrosini was sent off 20 minutes from time.

Baggio miss
Elsewhere, Roberto Baggio missed a penalty in Brescia Calcio's 4-4 draw with Reggina Calcio. Japanese midfield player Shunsuke Nakamura scored twice for the visitors - his second making it 4-3 on 72 minutes. But Fabio Petruzzi restored parity with five miunutes left on the clock.

Bologna joy
Andres Guly's goal and Sam Dalla Bona penalty enabled Bologna FC to beat Udinese Calcio 2-0 while Lorenzo D'Anna's red card did not prevent AC Chievo Verona recording a 2-1 away win against US Lecce.

Chiesa hat-trick
On Saturday, AC Siena beat Empoli FC 4-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Enrico Chiesa, who scored two of his treble from the penalty spot. The day's other match, between Ancona Calcio and Modena FC, finished 1-1.
