Estonia striker Tarmo Neemelo is leaving FC TVMK Tallinn to join Swedish club Helsingborgs IF - where he could form a partnership with Henrik Larsson.

Estonia striker Tarmo Neemelo has left FC TVMK Tallinn in his homeland to join Swedish club Helsingborgs IF for an undisclosed fee.

Four-year contract
The 24-year-old, who scored 41 league goals in the 2005 season, has signed a four-year contract and is expected to partner Henrik Larsson upon the latter's return from FC Barcelona in the summer. Neemelo had been much in demand as a result of his prolific form in the Meistriliiga, which continued in the opening game of the 2006 campaign when he scored in TVMK's 3-1 win against JK Vaprus Pärnu on Wednesday.

Swedish exodus
Neemelo, who cost TVMK only €650 when he arrived from FC Flora just before the 2004 season, is the third Estonian international forward to move to Sweden during the winter. TVMK team-mate Ingemar Teever went on a free transfer to Östers IF before Flora's Kristen Viikmäe agreed a one-year loan to Gefle IF.
