The 55-year-old was punished for bringing the game into disrepute by making accusatory comments about Italian football in an interview with the daily Le Parisien newspaper earlier in August. Domenech will serve his suspension in France's next UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifier – against Italy in Milan on 8 September.
