MKE Ankaragücü have shown early intent ahead of next season after capturing Slovakian international forward Róbert Vittek and Poland defender Michał Żewłakow.
Slovakia's goalscorer in a 1-1 draw with New Zealand on Tuesday, Vittek, 25, has been on loan with the Turkish side since January, registering five times in 12 league games. He will sign a two-year contract following the FIFA World Cup after LOSC Lille Métropole agreed a €2.1m fee.
Żewłakow arrives in the Turkish capital as a free agent having been released by Olympiacos FC at the end of last term. "I've always played for clubs competing for titles," said the 34-year-old. "I came here because I'm convinced Ankaragücü have such potential." Ankaragücü finished 12th in the Süper Lig last term.
