SP Tre Fiori won the Sammarinese Cup after coming from behind to beat SP Tre Penne 2-1 in the final thanks to an extra-time winner from veteran striker Sossio Aruta.
The victory keeps Tre Fiori on course for a domestic double with the league champions already in the play-offs for the title. It was Tre Penne, though, who were the better side in the first half and went into the break ahead after Matteo Valli's 13th-minute effort. Second-half substitute Alessandro Giunta equalised on the hour mark, though, and there was no more scoring in normal time.
It did not take long for Tre Fiori to seize the initiative in extra time, with 39-year-old former Ascoli Calcio 1898 striker Aruta scoring in the 93rd minute. They then hung on for their sixth Coppa Titano triumph, a first since 1985.
