São Paulo FC have completed the signing of FC Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Jadson, scorer of the winning goal against SV Werder Bremen in the 2009 UEFA Cup final.

The Brazilian playmaker has returned to his homeland on a three-year deal after a successful seven-year spell with Shakhtar. The 28-year-old, who joined from CA Paranaense in 2005, collected five Ukrainian titles and two Ukrainian Cups during his time with the Pitmen, as well as winning the last edition of the UEFA Cup in 2008/09, when his extra-time strike against Bremen in Istanbul earned Shakhtar their maiden European trophy.

Jadson registered 41 goals in 172 league outings for Shakhtar overall, including three in his nine championship appearances this term.
