Article body
MŠK Žilina have appointed their third coach of the season, with the former Slovakia trainer Ladislav Jurkemik returning for a second spell at the Mestsky Sportovy stadium.
Sticky spell
The champions of Slovakia for the past two seasons, Žilina started this campaign with Milan Lešický at the helm, only to replace him with Juraj Šimurka after eight matches. With the club having a sticky spell following the resumption after the winter break - one win and two draws in five matches - Šimurka walked before he was pushed, creating an opening which Jurkemik has filled.
Third place
Jurkemik was appointed Slovakia coach in December 2001 having surprisingly been sacked by Žilina. The Czech was in charge for the UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifying campaign, only to lose his job in November last year after finishing behind England and Turkey in Group 7. In January, he took charge of Slovakia's Under-21s.
