Pedro Tomás Marqués has been chairman of the Appeals Body since July 2011.

His professional career has always revolved around his passion for sport – especially football. Most notably, he has been Chairman of the Spanish Professional Football League between 2001 and 2004, as well as vice-president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, before serving as an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. He has also served on the UEFA task force responsible for implementing the UEFA Club Licensing Regulations, as well as representing the Spanish Professional Football League in Spain’s National Commission Against Violence in Sport.
