Thomas Hollerer

Thomas Hollerer has been the general secretary of the Austrian Football Association since August 2016, having previously headed up its legal & administrative department.

He studied sports law in Austria and Spain, being awarded a doctorate in professional football and labour law in 2002 (with publication in 2003). Having worked at the Viennese law faculty for some years, he still does lectures on sports law.

He was a member of the UEFA Players' Status, Transfer and Agents and Match Agents Committee from 2011 to 2016 and he is CAS arbitrator.

He joined the Appeals Body in 2016 and has been one of its vice-chairman since 2023.
